OUR MISSION
ABUAD, an innovative university which is acknowledged by NUC as “a benchmark and reference point” and also ranked by Times Higher Education Impact Ranking as Number One (1) in two years consecutively has established ABUAD Industrial Park consisting of 121 units of industries purposely to crystalise a productive working union between Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) and ABUAD Industrial Research Park as well as other functioning industries in Nigeria and beyond.

Why it was established
University is established for quality and functional education
ABUAD Industrial Park is the brainchild of the founder.
Location
Shares boundary with Afe Babalola University and only 7.5km from the Centre of Ado-Ekiti. It is close to the new Ekiti State Cargo and Passenger Airport. It has licensed helipad. ABUAD Industrial Park is the brainchild of the founder.
Offshoot of Afe Babalola University
Afe Babalola University is reputed for quality and functional education in Law, Medicine, Engineering, Sciences and Research. In addition there is an hospital reputed to be the most well-equipped in Africa. The University also has gym, massage parlour, beauty saloon. The Engineering department reputed to be the benchmark for Engineering in the country and 75% of the equipment are not available in any other institution.
The Engineering Department has made significant achievements in ……of Asthmavisor, won the Microsoft Ideal Competition sponsored by Unilever in London. The Industrial Park is the University’s affiliated Business Park focusing on research and development which can generate income for the University and the community.

It can breed employment particularly for the scientists coming from the University and the surrounding environment and provide opportunity for talented students
Mandate of the Founder
The founder’s mandate for the establishment of an Industrial Park is stated as follows:
- To establish an industrial park that is functional, self-sustaining which will link the University with Industry.
- To launch Nigeria and other emerging economies in Africa into the modern age through innovative and research driven industrialization and entrepreneurship.
- To promote investments in high-tech industries
- To promote innovative research and developmental programmes of the University through commercialization
- To encourage university-industry linkages which will facilitate mutual research, student and staff training
- To promote entrepreneurship in ABUAD students and staff through development of incubation units which will concretize their budding ideas
- To provide avenue to the immediate communities for employment, vocational and professional training; and
- To provide a platform for patronage of industries, research institutes, governmental organizations and other corporate bodies in project, product and technological innovations and development.
